Taína Feather
From la Cotorra, the Puerto Rican parrot that watched over the islands of the Caribbean.  Before the Taino's, Queen Iguaca ruled Borinquen and was known as a wise and caring ruler.

Camándula Seeds
Found near streams, Taíno Indians used the seeds for necklaces and wristbands.

El Coquí

According to Taíno legend, el Coquí won their voice in great race, defeating all of the other animals with Teamwork and Ingenuity.

A symbol of Puerto Rico, many express their nationality saying:

“Soy de aquí como el Coquí”
